Gothic & Vampire Artist Avelina De Moray

September 1st, 2009

Greetings my children of the night!

I have been busy working on two new artworks and I’m very excited to share these with you!

The artwork simply entitled ‘Dracula’ is my first ever attempt at drawing. Having never drawn before I am proud to say that everything from the castle in the background to the scar details on his face was drawn by hand!

It was a long process, (over 2 months) as I had to learn a few tricks as I went along, but I’m absolutely in love with the end result!

My second artwork ‘The Turning’ is the last piece to be released from the Rookwood Cemetery shoot. This artwork also includes elements of drawing. Can you pick what’s drawn and what’s not?

A few days ago, I played the role of Elizabeth Bathory in a photo shoot for an upcoming artwork. This bloody creation will be the next I release.

I am also thrilled to announce that I am a finalist in the Under The Blue Moon art competition! My canvases will be on display at the Polymorph Gallery, Newtown and you are all invited to join me at the gallery opening on the 27th Of October, 2009.
