About the artwork:
'The Turning' was staged at Sydney’s infamous ‘Rookwood Cemetery’.
The Rookwood Necropolis is the largest cities of the dead in the southern hemispheres and has been a constant venue for satanic worship and sacrifice.
What better place to find a true Vampire than buried within the ancient ruins of the Rookwood Necropolis.
In fact, during the staging of this photo shoot several strange events took place which included equipment that seemed to have a mine of its own and strange apparitions that would drift in and out of the shoot.

Wonderful doesn't begin to describe 'The Turning'. The vibrant colors really strike you at once and explode from the canvas, bringing the vampire to life! I am a proud owner of this piece.

This was the first piece of artwork I ever saw of Avelina's, and I fell in love with it from the start. The canvas is presented in a luscious red, accentuating the grandeur of a burning sky. I'm also a fan of Victorian-style Gothic dress, and the gorgeous M shows it off to perfection.
As Ryan said on the Empathy thread, where Avelina is concerned, you're more than just a paying customer; a rarity in this modern world of ours.
I've just ordered the Lucy Westenra canvas; can't wait to receive it.
