Empathy CANVAS - 36 by 24 Inch
Product Description
All canvases are printed with lead-free pigment ink on 100% cotton canvas.
The dimensions are 36" by 24" Inch once stretched.
The canvases are shipped to you rolled (this means you need to have them put on the rack and stretched). This can be easily done by your local framing shop, or you could just hang it from your wall like a poster. For information on the stretching process, please visit this page:
Stretching canvases
The canvas is not waterproof, and in true vampiric fashion, should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
All canvases are printed with a 4cm black border, eliminating the need to frame them once stretched.
LIMITED EDITION:
The first 5 canvases are individually numbered and stamped.

About the Artwork:
A triptych that puts a new twist on the crucifixion sager.
The first in the triptych is entitled 'Empathy' and depicts the crucifixion as seen through the eyes of Lucifer. Watching from the distance a tear is shed, not for the Christ, but for his kneeling nemesis.
'Revenge', the second in the series shows us the crucifixion as seen through the eyes of Judas. He kneels at the feet of his dying Christ and fixates upon the true object of his devotion, Mary Magdalene. Wife of Jesus, and the real reason for Judas’ betrayal.
'Faith' the last in the triptych, and possibly the most disturbing, depicts the dying moments of Christ and the realization that his martyrdom will throw the world into Aeons of religious conflict.

CRADLE OF FILTH
A copy of Empathy which was signed by all members of Cradle of Filth, was recently given away in a competition. Dani was also given a copy of ‘Vampires Of Rookwood’ for his daughter Luna, and Empathy for himself.
Note: All canvases are thoroughly inspected before shipping to ensure that each canvas is free from blemishes.
Recently, a customer had their canvas damaged by a professional, yet incompetent framer, this is not our responsibility, and no replacements will be offered.It is not our responsibility if the canvas is in any way damaged during the framing or stretching process.

This is a beautifull piece of art work. The colors and the detail are out of this world! It is a must have for those who are fans of dark art. Avelina's arstic visions are superb.

an amazing piece by an amazing artist. forget about whatever religious beliefs you hold, this piece is an incredible take on what is one of the most poignant moments (real or imagined) in history. Simply stunning

Empathy is just one example of the amazing dark artwork coming from the beautiful and talented Avelina De Moray. I cam accross it checking out Cradle of Filth and said to myself, this is beautiful, I have to have it! I absolutely love how everything comes together will the eye, the three crucifixions, and the fire!! Another great thing I love about Miss Avelina, is that she's not just another company artist who doesn't care about you as long as you buy her work. She cares about the customer and will follow up with you to make sure your artwork was delieverd and safely arrived. Every piece she has accomplished will leave you mezmorized and wanting more. Keep up the amazing work!!

Bought this for Christmas for my girlfriend. I'm not a fan of gothic art myself, but the flawless quality of the canvas and the sheer size and detail of the art is enough to earn my appreciation. Not only is the canvas awesome, but Avelina was more than happy to discuss postage options with me in order to get this to Canada in time for Christmas! Thank you!

I bought this canvas a while ago, and it blows my mind everytime i see it. it is an excellent piece and i couldnt be happier with it.
Avelina was very kind while i was talking with her, which made me want to buy the canvas even more. I have my eye on a few more pieces and i look forward to talking with Avelina again.
