The first in the triptych is entitled Empathy and depicts the crucifixion as seen through the eyes of Lucifer. Watching from the distance a tear is shed, not for the Christ, but for his kneeling nemesis. Revenge, the second in the series shows us the crucifixion as seen through the eyes of Judas. He kneels at the feet of his dying Christ and fixates upon the true object of his devotion, Mary Magdalene. Wife of Jesus, and the real reason for Judas’s betrayal. Faith the last in the triptych, and possibly the most disturbing, depicts the dying moments of Christ and the realization that his martyrdom will throw the world into Aeons of religious conflict.
